Hydroseeding & Lawn Installation
Fast, even turf establishment for new lawns, slopes, and large bare areas. More affordable than sod on big jobs.

A New Lawn Without Rolling Out Sod
Hydroseeding sprays a mix of seed, mulch, fertilizer, and water in one pass. It is the right method when the area is too large for sod, too steep for easy rolling, or freshly graded after construction.
How Long Does Hydroseed Take to Grow?
Good-quality grass seed usually starts to come up in about two weeks. Hydroseeding can speed that up, because the mulch holds moisture and keeps the seed in place. With warm weather and steady watering, you'll often see green sooner.
Caring for a New Hydroseeded Lawn
- Water lightly every day, or more in hot weather, so the mulch and soil stay moist until the grass comes in.
- Keep people, pets, and vehicles off the area while it establishes.
- Once it's rooted, the new lawn can go on our lawn fertilization program.
Common Questions About Hydroseeding
Is hydroseeding cheaper than sod?
Yes, especially on large areas. Sod gives you a finished lawn right away, so it can make sense for small spots that need to look done the same week. See Sod Installation.
When is the best time to hydroseed?
Spring and early fall, when temperatures are mild and there's regular rain.
Do you hydroseed commercial and industrial sites?
Yes, including construction sites, slopes, and well-pad and pipeline restoration. See Commercial Hydroseeding and Industrial Hydroseeding.
